I'm familiar with Mesa/Freedom and TSA/*************************, but the rest is a bit hazy. Has anyone taken the time to trace the lineage of all the new alter-ego airlines?

Excellent idea. The dotted line has to begin with ALPA deciding to ignore its merger and fragmentation policy.

US Air had Potomac "Pottymac" back in the US AIR / United merger attempt they took Piedmont 200's to make that Alter Ego

Just curious, is everything the fault of ALPA's merger and frag policy?

Well, maybe not EVERYTHING... ;)

The thing that cracks me up is when the "regional" pilots accuse ALPA of poorly representing them in favor of protecting mainline interests. Keeping in mind of course the biggest screw up in the history of ALPA was when these wizards allowed RJ flying by the "regionals".

I keep asking, yet you never answer: what part of the merger and fragmentation policy was ignored or not complied with? I swear, you guys just pull this crap out of your a$$.

What was the reason for that one? Is Potomac still around?

Hey guys, take it outside.....the knee-jerk RJDC bash/defend thread is over there somewhere. I'm actually trying to come up with some information here-a novel concept for Flight Info to be sure, but I though it was at least worth a shot.

************************* airline

Can one of the moderators please explain to me and everyone else on this board exactly why there is a ban on this airline's name. It better be a good one, seeing that you can type the name of ANY other airline on this forum except g o j e t.

Still waiting for one of the so-called moderators to explain why the word ************************* is not allowed on this board. If any of you moderators have the sack God gave a hamster, you'll explain this.

.....the only possibility I could think of. I just want to see if they have the balls to own up to it, or come up with some other sorry excuse. Are you listening oh mighty moderators? Afraid of two little words? Six little letters? G O J E T S????? If you cannot explain this, then F yourselves and this board.

Freedom
**G**O**J**E**T**'**S***********s
Mid Atlantic

add to the list folks...nice how it automatically adds the *ss marks when you type those letters at normal spacing.

How does Republic fit into the mix?

Hell, I'd rather say Blowjet or Whorejet or Gayjet than *************************.

New York Air
Freedom
Republic
Shuttle America (was a purchase, but certificate was used for same reason)
MidAtlantic
GooJets
NewCorp

New York Air wasnt a bottom feeder... they were an independant company that was merged. Yeah Lorenzo owned them but this the day before codeshares
