I won't. I'm on the 50. I think the 70 will. I hope not but, I think it will. I think you guy's might actually get some of yours back in exchange for scope.

However, you guys have taken a huge pay cut already. That really sucks. I do feel badly for you guy's. But, when you guy's (all 4 or 5 of you) come to a regional forum and continually act like the ugly, fat 5th grader from a low class family trying to bully the kindergardeners to make himself feel better about his sh-tty life circumstances, I can't help but feel good about anything bad that happens to you. Well, since I can hold MD88 Captain now, I actually would be able to get a pay raise from my current rate, even though my 767 FO pay is down about 47% from what it was 2 years ago. I may go to 777 FO though to see Europe, Africa, and Asia first. That would be a slight raise too. Choices. But, none of those will be choices if we liquidate, and that would be bad for you too.

As far as we Delta pilots coming to YOUR forum, who says we can't? I enjoy all aspects of this industry, and I post in almost all of the forums. Sure, I have done the regional and Majors more as of late, but that is because they are more lively at the moment. There is nothing wrong with me enjoying all of the forums. If you don't like it, then don't get on or just ignore me. I will be posting my opinions any time I want.

Its not MY fourm. Its not OUR (regional pilots) either. It has nothing to do with your enjoyment of any aspect of the industry. You just want someone to bully around and you think you can come here and do it because you believe you are above those of us at the regional level. Which is really amussing because if you are being truthful, you were once at the regionals. That all says volumes about how low your self esteem is and how artificially inflated your ego is.

I hope General Lee is right. Why you guys are so eager to see Delta pilots take another hit on scope and payrates is beyond me. GL has a point, the Delta pilot group of today has a lot less to lose than the same group 5 years ago....I think they are willing to fall on the sword, but don't think they'll have to. They may take minor concessions but I don't think you will see them give anything up on scope, which is good for this career. If Delta survives this and holds onto scope, they may be hiring again in 5 or 6 years. Will Delta be a place anyone would want to work at in the years beyond 2010? Good question, but it will probably always be better than the regional free-for-all where job security is a figment of the imagination.

If they liquidate, well, it will be a total disaster in the regional world as a glut of nearly 300 RJ's and qualified aircrews would be thrust into the market.

How any of us would hold onto our payrates or QOL with that kind excess capacity on the market I have no idea. Delta's liquidation would be the ultimate disaster for RJ operators, IMO.

Skywest and ASA desperate for work, underbidding Expressjet, Pinnacle, Wisconsin, and.....dare I say Mesa....Comair Totally obliterated with dozens of RJ's being sent to the desert every month....not a pretty picture.
