I heard Aloha was interviewing this week.
anyone know how many they hired?
and future clas dates.

hey, a buddy of mine interviewed with them yesterday. he didn't hear any class dates. where did you get that march 10th info? just curious! good news though, eh!

I got that info from a co-worker of mine, that heard it from Aloha's traning personnel. (Intials are B.J.)
I hope to be in the next round! Does your friend happen to fly at Island Air?
I heard there 4 of them from there that got the call!

I was in training when they said they were gonna interview in March for April class. The very next day, they started calling people to interview in February for March class.

The more classes - the better...

No call for me this round. I have a solid rec and local Oahu address currently employed flying a jet 121 so what my friend told me is those that are being called have recs from senior CA's at AQ. Sure seems like quite the bottleneck now.

Lots of local names in there is what I was told. 10 kanaka maoli and two females too.

I may have been misunderstood. I was alluding to nepotism, not race or sexism.
As Freight Dog said, the more the classes , the better.

don't know about racism, sexism, nepotism, or any other isms for that matter..... but, the friend of mine that got the call is from the mainland, furloughed, male, and the recommendation was from a 2 year FO.

haven't heard anything about class dates yet. if anyone gets any more confirms on them, please keep posting!

My friend saw the list and said most names look local.

How much time does your friend have? Where is he furloughed form?

furloughed from united with about 5,000 total i think. at least 1,500 left seat in de dash....

So, has anyone heard if the people that interviewed have been notified yet of being hired and of a class?

Nothing yet...except someone told me that as of yesterday, (Fri.), they weren't finished with all of the interviews yet. ...Strange, I didn't think it was going to take this long.

That is strange. I heard the interviews were the
4,5,and 6. Maybe they decided to continue interviewing for future classes.

ok, from what i've heard. the plan is for a march 10th class of 8-12. it is on hold right now for a few reasons, but, it sounds as if its almost a sure thing. calls will probably go out this next week. i think iraq has somethin' to do with it.

second rumor...totally unconfirmed...but from a pretty darn reliable source is that they will have a second class shortly thereafter with interviews in march.

'tis all i've heard! anyone gettin' calls do some posting!
