Aloha hiring again

Well not exactly hiring yet, but lots or retirements, early retirements and furloughees bypassing recall rights or resigning. We are probably going to end up short this summer.

I heard everyone was recalled, including the class in Nov that never finished training. But the catch was that is was an informal call checking to see who would be available if the company recalled for just a few month period. I heard several guys resigned due to having made commitments with new employers. At least one was also recalled at his former airline. I guess he thought United was less of a sinking ship than Aloha.

I could be wrong - it was all second hand info.

How many are in the class on June 1st?

I dont know what the deal is with those 4 guys in the June 04 class. The Nov 04 class (except 2) was offered a 60days recall, 5 or 6 out of 8 of them took it.
