Just cut and pasted a bunch of Allegiant work rules to the Compass thread on the regional forum. Sadly their contract blew ours out of the water. Since a lot of people won't see it I thought it would be important to post on here as well.

We have voted in a union and are working on it, but these are the current work rules....

3.G: Pay for voluntary open time pick-up: straight pay
Minimum duty period credit: None
401k Match and eligibility:100% first 2% then 50% for next 3% for a total of 5% match
Per Diem: $1
Deadhead pay agreement $20/hr
Pilots won't be able to Bid for Training
Hours of Service-11 days off for lineholders, 10 for reserves
Long-Call Reserve program - none

We have PTO for both sick and vacation...

year 2-3 ... 35 hours a year
year 4-6 ... 45 hours a year
year 7+ ... 52 hours a year

? Sick calls now paid at 100% if it brings you under 70 hour guarantee. If over 70 hours you must use PTO. See above.

? Out-of-Domicile paid parking
? Scope: none
? Junior Assignment Pay: straight pay
? Voluntary Open Time Pick-Up: straight pay
? Critical Pay: straight pay
? Build up line credit of 3.5 hours on Reserve Days
?
? Training Pay: $80 a day regardless of CA or FO
no credit for required online studies

Newhire training pay -- $2000/mo and no hotel provided.

WOW! I mean just wow! Good luck with your first contract. It can only improve. But can I ask you...is that for real?

Yes that's for real.

Forgot to add that any bid conflicts result in the loss of pay for that day. It's up to you to rebid for another day. Now PBS has removed that, but the PBS system was added during negotiations without pilot input. All discussion about how it would benefit pilots was met with a shrug. Teamsters currently suing to have it removed.

Upgrade pushing close to 6 years now. Planned growth of 3-4 aircraft a year. Caveat Emptor.

Yet, guys are still picking up open flying every single day???? Its no better than one of the worst regional airlines out there, only with 40 year old airplanes!

But they are shinier and don't say RJ in the name!!!!! Oh and you can stand up in the cabin...what's not to love?!!!

We have better work rules at JUS
