I've been told that those who live at the Reno and other charter bases have a very nice schedule is that true? Do you sit reserve and then hold a line, or do you sit reserve and wait for a trip no matter what your hire date? Are they busy?

I think they always go straight into having a line.

The line they get may have a few reserve days in there though.
And Around Jan. it looks like some junior FO's will be heading to Tunica.

So probably no chance of SFB right off the bat much less any FLA base?

I think there will be a chance, when FLL opens a few F/O's are upgrading and going there. I thing all three bases will need F/O's, not sure how many current ones will go to the new base in Florida, with the growth I would be optimistic.

Just about all the FOs in the current charter bases (RNO & IFP) are upgrading so there will be some movement.

The sked is usually about 20 days off in RNO. Typical sked is working twice a month for 4 or 5 days of flying, then 8 or 9 days off.

There are no reserve lines, but occaisionally get a reserve day when the charter is not sked. This only happens 3-4 times a month. The reserve is to back up the LAS operation. So if they have a few spares in LAS, you can get released and go mtn biking.
