I heard if you say "hiring boom" three times into a mirror that Kit Darby will appear.

JetBlue mgmt publicly stated that they have a pilot retention problem, and they need to increase compensation to keep their pilots.

The pilot shortage has been here for a while...it is slowly building up strength. Some carriers have already parked planes due to a shortage of pilots.

The General. Once again talking about something he doesn't know about, regarding a company he doesn't work for. All based on what he read on FI. Hey General you should stick to your rediculous Delta VS. SW scuffles. That way you at least sound somewhat educated on the topic at hand.

I know 30 fairly senior JB Capts came back to DL as FOs on recall. That says plenty. I would expect more, but you should stay.... Yeah....

Bye Bye---General Lee

Of the 2 that I know (furloughed us air and hired at JB, 2003 and 2005 respectively) one came back and one stayed.

This is true. However we do not have a bonus retention program like you talked about in your initial thread. Me correcting your statement based on your lack of knowledge has nothing to do with me staying or leaving. I may stay. I may not. Yeah.....

General I am a furloughed DAL guy who decided to stay at JB but I'm not sure how that or your above statement applies to your original post about a retention bonus at JB. There isn't one.
