All flights cancelled??

My wife heard from a co-worker, whom is in Detroit and is traveling to SFO tomorrow, that all flights to SFO have been cancelled. He's on AA or UAL. I took a quick look at each of their websites and didn't see a press release that flights are being cancelled in reponse to 9-11.

Not true. Now go tell your wife not to indulge in idle gossip -- especially with a DTW worker (who by the way are as far removed from reality as they come).

Again, see previous post.... An Airline EXEC is about as far removed from reality as you can get. They don't know what's going on in DTW much less SFO.

If she heard it from an Exec it must be true. Especially since it made it all the way to the web. It has to be true. Why would an Exec tell someone information like that? Uh, maybe it didn't happen. Maybe you made it up to get a rise out of FI'ers. Maybe it is true and UAL and AA have secretly cancelled all their SFO flights and only your wife knew. Good thing she only told you and not a terrorist that might be reading the web and gathering information/intell.

Stop with all of the rumor injections. It is truely pathetic.

good grief....the old lady, who is NOT an airline employee received a call from one of her co-workers indicating that all the sfo flights were being cancelled. This person received a call from the airline....

you folks a a bit touchy...geez
