I might have to ride on Alitalia from TLV-LAX-TLV next month and just wanted to get some input on the airline. So, how is it?

Hi!

I would be worried they won't be in operation next month.

AF/KLM offered to buy them out, so they wouldn't go bankrupt, and the last I heard the unions were deciding whether to go with the AF offer or fold.

I would do some research before buying a ticket or planning to JS on them!!!

PS-I flew on them about 1 1/2 years ago. Pretty normal-good Euro service-meal in coach (and NOT a long flight).

Did you make your flight yet?

Last summer I was DH'ed from YYZ-FCO in business class. it was pretty sweet. Hot FA's and the galley had a real italian espresso machine!
