Alcohol Policies?

If you have an alchohol policy that calls for something in excess of FAR requirements do you also have flight and duty time restrictions that exceed the FAR's?

Word.

We just went to 12 hours and .04. It used to be 8 hours and .02. Wtf?

Yep, they won't let us pick up time in excess of 27.5 hours within a 7 day period, although they have no problem assigning such a trip if it benefits them.

Blucher, they can't assign you a trip that schedules you for more than 27.5 in 7 days or 97.5 in a month either. It's not regulatory but contractual.

American Eagle 12 hours, but Executive Airlines(Same company) 8 hours...Go figure?

PDT-12 hours. But like some other guy said, if your counting it down to minutes and seconds as far as when you have to stop, does it really matter? Its like some of these people think if they stop a few minutes prior to the 8 or 12 hours, that it will automatically make you blow a 0.00 the next morning.
