I flew in to Albert Whitted last night Great little airport on the water in Saint Pete Fla Looks like this will not be another chicago Megis field Local news reporting that Albert Whitted to Stay as is. Looks like AOPA efforts and ads really did help I'm a proud member and glad to see their efforts

Local tv channel 10 shows 74.2% voted to keep it open permanently (with charter restrictions) and that's with 75% of the precincts so far.

Waterfront park gets 20.3%.

Some local lawyers and developers are not going to be happy with the return on investment! :D

Get these people some more parks!

Good Stuff. If I see one more **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**ed park in place of an airport I'll lose it. If I still lived in Chicago I'd arrange for Daley's house to be bulldozed in the middle of the night and in place I'd build a small park as well.
No, wait. I'd build a little bush strip and Helipad and open up a restaraunt along with the park. How much does Daley's house contribute annually? -1, 538, 624?? I think we could swing that one.
