I was completing the assessment required for Alaska. At about half way through the questions the site would not properly open and I was unable to complete the required questions. When I logged back on it had taken the assessment out. Any Alaska folks out there know what I can do? Is there any way of letting the HR Dept. know of my situation. Would greatly appreciate the advice. Thanks.

:cool:I'm right there with you hyeflyin, I am still trying to find my way back to update etc. If you get any info, would you let me know! Thanks again.

Yes, everybody.

This may not be totally relevant to this thread but rather than starting a new one I'll ask here. Is one of the questions on the assessment whether or not you have a valid or current 1st class medical? I don't need one for my current position and have allowed mine to lapse to 2nd class priviledges. If I need to get one, I will but would rather not spend the money if I don't have to.

Yes, that was a question but I can't remember if it asked do you have a 1st class OR...do you have the ability to hold a 1st class.

SC,

I had this asked of me in the past. You currently hold a 1st class medical, however it just happens to be valid for 2nd class use. So in short you have a first class medical. There was one company in my past that wanted to see a first class medical, WITH first class privileges.

In the end, if you feel you have strong chance of pulling an interview shortly, the cost of first class medical is minimal in terms of prep costs.

Good luck,

AA

Perhaps Im an idiot, who knows...

I recived the email from Alaska while on a trip last week stating that I needed to "re-apply" and make sure everything is ok..... So while I was on the website, the only way to "re-apply", was to take off my current listing and resubmitted. However, once you have taken it off, it can;t be put back on...I contacted the HR email address....... I have had this in for many years and Im from Seattle.... The only thing that shows now is the future hiring.......ANY help from anyone would be greatly appeciated

milehye,

This is how I re-applied, without removing my original application:
- Logon to my profile
- Click on the "Job Listings" link on the top left
- From the first "Title" drop-down box, select "Pilot"

Good luck, even though Alaska doesn't fly A320s! :)

I understand that, however, once you take it off, it won't allow it back on...It states "you no longer wish to apply for this" IS there anyone in HR that can help fix this
