I see on Friday the 20th, that Alaska posted "future pilot hiring" on the company website (alaskasworld.com). Lots of rumors have been flying, but nothing as solid as an "announcement" of hiring.

Can anyone confirm the "pilot referal program" is alive and well again??

flx757, any stories around the company water cooler you'ld like to share??

Also, from another website...http://www.airlinepilotcentral.com/content/view/45/17/

Futuer pilot hiring

That was on the website before May 20th. I don't think that catagory has changed for a while.

"Future Pilot Hiring" has been posted on the company website for months. Pretty much all year, if I recall correctly. The "5/20" date is just an update to the posting date, but the information is still the same as is has been all year. Nothing really new happening.

Still only rumors, but last week in recurrent, the Fleet Captain told the guys in class to go through their base chief pilot if they have anyone to recommend. Who knows what is going to happen? I sure don't, and if anyone connected with the company does, they aren't saying.

Looking for a friend

I'm trying to find a friend of mine I lost contact with when his email failed. If anyone at Alaska Airlines knows a Scott Butterfield, hired in 1988 or 1989, I would appreciate a chance to send him a message privately. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
