This was just posted on the Alaska site. They are contracting out the ramp services in SEA and laying off 472 Alaska employees. It just gets better and better there. The all mighty dollar speaks again. I'm confused though, did management take a pay cut? I'm sorry for all of those losing their jobs.
 
I have many family members working at Alaska. Only one on the ramp and he is in Anchorage. He is already starting a new career before Alaska gets rid of the rest of the rampers in Anchorage. Some other family members many that have been there for over 25 years are being forced out. Most are told you can either quit or be fired. It's sad to see a company I have known my whole life that was known for their customer service and employee's to just screw them all over.
