Anyone know of a school up there with at least a twin?
Cheers.

Take Flight Alaska at Merrill Field. Have a BE-76. Of the other flight schools including UAA, I think that Take Flight is the only one with a twin anymore. I don't know about Aero-tech (also on MRI) but I know UAA dosn't have a twin. PM me for more details.

Im currently a student at UAA and we dont have a twin (they are planning to get one, but thats at least a year off). If you have access to the Aeroclub on Elmendorf they have a twin also, a piper seneca.

How would a guy get access to such an aeroclub?
I'm leaning on going to a school in the Seattle area before going there, but thought I'd give myself a head start.

PS. Should I just find myself a snow bunnie for the winter or is their any jobs to be had during the white season?

Both Take Flight and Aero Tech have twin engine airplanes. The airplanes are a Duchess and an Aztec, respectively. Both schools are at Merrill Field. I think you can get access to the AeroClub if you are a member of CAP.

A Squarded is correct about the aero club. People that have access to an aero club are Active or Retired Military, dependents, and CAP members.
