Good for you guys!! Why would anyone else want to get involved in this AWA/US
mess.In a few years you will be able to get any assets you want for pennies on the dollar in BK court when the whole thing dies under it's own debt load.

So you guys are going to believe the company website!?!?, I am sure we are all aware that the management types speak out of both sides of their mouths. Not that I want to see it happen........ it will sink three airlines instead of two. USAir is a giant anchor tied to the S.S. Titanic!

"The statements made herein speak only as of today. We disclaim any obligation to update or revise these statements after the date of this report in the event of changes in our plans or circumstances."

Sounds to me like they are denying it today, but not flat-out denying it overall. They could just as easy turn around and say tomorrow or a couple of weeks from now...."you know, we only said we weren't going to do it that day...we told you we could change our minds"

Wake up. Alaskas mngmt has been as successful as their govt subsidies to AK allow. Their poor contract language has finally bitten them in the ass despite thier previously high hourly pay. They cannot afford awa if they wanted to.
