Alaska Airlines CASS?

Can someone please tell me if Alaska is Cass, and if so how do you go about checking loads and listing? Thanks

CASS yes! As far as listing I'm not sure? Call the main 800 line and ask them if they can help you or at least give you the correct number to call.

I use 877-677-2566 for nonrev listing. They usually don't give you exact numbers for seats available vs. seats occupied, but they do give you a percentage. For example, this flight is booked to 85% capacity.

If you're flying out of PDX or SEA be sure to also ask how many non-revs are listed. As they should, their employees love to travel. I've seen flights before with 20 open seats with 30 Alaska employees trying to get on. Other than that a great airline to fly on.

One thing to be careful of on Alaska/Horizon is if their JAX (or however you spell the acronym-which is their tie in to CASS) is down they wont even let you sit in the back if you aren't approved for the cockpit. Most airlines will still let you sit in an empty seat if you come back denied for the cockpit, but there are a select few who wont....

That said, Alaska and Horizon are always great to jumpseat on. They have a good group of people there! I can tell you that Friday the 30th and Saturday the 1st are just SLAMMED busy for them....and as HP pilot said, traffic between PDX and SEA can be nuts!
