Alaska Airlines will have 26 airplane deliveries in the next 4 years, while retiring 8 737-400s. Also, 5 Horizon CRJ-700s are being leased to SkyWest which will fly them for the Air Group!

Ha! The largest font would mean nothing to the majority of the ALK pilot group. They were willfully ignorant during negotiations on the matter of scope and have had no reason to change. Yet.

I admit I'm not very good at math. All I can find is an order for the 15 jets. Where did you get that 26 number from?

I hate to be a buzz kill, and I hope I'm wrong, but it just sounds like they were reiterating their order. BA said during the CC, "just so we're clear, we're receiving 3 airplanes in '11 and 3 airplanes in '12." So does that mean we're taking delivery of 20 planes in '13 and '14?

They will be acquiring 26 A/C over the next four years, while retiring 8 400's. Net gain of 18 including previously announced orders.
