Does anyone know if Airtran is strict about hiring only pilots with 121 time or do you know of any who have been hired without it?

Military pilots and significant 135 pic time has been acceptable in the past

Just talked to one of the interviewers. He said a type rating or two goes a long way to make up for lack of 121 PIC time.
