I enjoyed that "blast from the past". When that thread first appeared, I was waiting for my sim training periods to begin in Miami.

That $35.50 is correct, and was pretty meager, but I was a happy newhire, with a lot to learn. just three short years later, I was making $106./hr. and feeling pretty fortunate. I guess it's not too hard to triple your pay, when you start at $35./hr. ;)

Well let me help you out. There is no longer an airline named AirTran, Northwest, America West, TWA, Midwest Express, Mesaba, Comair, Continental and Aloha.

And as my youngest daughter just told me the true meaning of Presidents Day.
