Ty Webb said:We DO like it here, and although management isn't perfect, we're not going to change 'em on this board, so kindly p!ss off.
Dave Siegel said:Thanks for MAKING my point...We DO LIKE it here. That's a revealing comment coming from Mr. Air Tran.
Seems to me the Southwest guys LOVE (or LUV) it at Southwest. That's the difference.

Everyone else doesn't need to hear that your airline is better than theirs. You sound like a little kid bragging about how "my daddy can beat up your daddy." Grow up.
Rhoid said:Well SWA is definately better than Pinnacle! I guess that since you fly for one of the lowest bottom feeder commuters and came from the lowest, you are used to being crapped on.

Ty Webb said:Well, over 700 commuters can't be wrong . . . . Heh-heh.
The 717 has some nice features that I wish they had incorporated in the 73NG. The instrument panel is the same as the MD11, they just staggered the screens so they would fit. The 73NG also has some nice features. Both have plenty of power.
We use all the bells and whistles- autothrottles, autoland, autobrakes, AIN approaches, etc. . . . . so bid the NG and help a brother out . . . heh-heh. Seriously, I owuld bid the 73NG if you haveprevious experience in it, no doubt. Why make it harder for yourself, and with 19 more coming this year, you should have decent lines and seniority before long.

So Ty, you think it best to bid the 737 since I 've been on it? I know it would be less stress during training but it would be nice to fly something different, not to mention overnights in MSY, home.
Either aircraft will do me just fine and am looking forward to a long career here. I wish all the best to my ATA buddies, lots of good guys there.
