With the recent recall of all remaining furloughed pilots, is there any talk of substance of any hiring in the near future?

Why would you want to work there?
Not interested in working there. Was just curious about the current state of the airline. If Airtran begins hiring, that would be a positive turn given the current hiring situation in the industry as a whole.

I think when everyone is hiring is when everything will be peachy.

Hi!

Why would anyone want to work at AirTran???

Same old thing: DAL sucks, NWA is terrible, CAL awful, Cathay crap, Emirates horrid, etc., etc.

Now, why would I want to work at AirTran???

My longest trip would be less than 165 days, which is the length of the current trip that I'm on.

I would be flying modern equipment, and not a DC-9.

I would not have to shop at Nakumatt Mega for groceries at my crashpad.

My crashpad would be better accomodations than where I'm living.

I can think of some more, but got to get up at 0500 for a safari-one thing I wouldn't be doing at AirTran.

Finally, some perspective for you domestic guys.

Thanks, Cliff...

Nope, sorry- Southwest guys have it worse. They have to do LBB.

I hope you're making some really big money to put up with that crap. I'd rather work at CostCo than deal with all of that.
