Hey Airtran new hires,
I am interviewing at AT soon and would like to verify the best places for interview prep. I have been to a couple of the "gouge sights" and will probably do the air inc prep. Any suggestions? Who has the best gouge? I have definately done the research on the company and absolutely want the job so it is now a matter of doing the homework and giving it my best shot to get hired. Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brainhurts

I interviewed in Dec, started class in Jan. I did not interview prep anywhere. It was totally HR stuff. I guess it depends how comfortable you are.
Give your best Customer service story, etc.

Don't waste your money on Air Inc. The interview is basic get to know you stuff. No technical BS, no sim eval. Strictly HR questions you can get the gouge about online.

My advice is to go to a mens restroom in a public park after dark and talk to some of the guys. If you try some of the parks in Atlanta you'll probably meet Ty Webb or Fletch152. I'm sure they would gladly mentor you in one of the bathroom stalls. Heck, they might even pay you.

Who has the best gouge?
Guys who left for other airlines. Ha!!!

AtlDC9 is right. I recently interviewed. It is very similar to the SWA approach. No sim ride, no tests. I met some outstanding people down in Atlanta.

Now for one final task this morning. Ah yes...the ignore feature..perfect for the more juvenile folks who post on this board.

Alteon Training in Long Beach California can do the Interview Prep in the 717 simulator, but that may be overkill....

I heard they take all newhires to not only public parks but also the YMCA for indoc. Ty "Snug Fit" Webb is in charge of this portion of training!

Hey oxygen thief, you must be a real hoot to your buddies in Key West. Go back to your inflatable boy date.

So you hate AirTran. Big deal. We hate turds, and you're a big pointy one.

Especially since there is no sim on the interview.
