Some various questions about Airtran that maybe some Airtran pilots could help me with.

How did you guys get such a good B-Fund plan (10%)?

Please explain the standup lines and how they work?

What is the latest on the Boeing deliveries as well as the remaining B717 deliveries? How many actual confirmed deliveries, as well as options?

Looking at your payscale... http://www.airlinepilotpay.com/airtran/airtran.htm
Will the FO pay scale change in the next contract, maybe closer to Southwest?

Why a monthly guarantee of 70 hours? Will that change?

What is the latest on the next contract? Expected date to sign it, and expected improvements?

Thanks for any info! Seems like a great place to work.

1. Collective bargining. It's 10.5%.

2. See my post under http://forums.flightinfo.com/showthread.php?t=40476&highlight=airtran

3. Not 100% sure, I know a few were postponed. I believe 8 737's by the end of the year and 1 or 2 a month during '05. Someone may know more than me on this?

4. Hopefully the whole payscale will become more like SWA. I understand what you're saying, the only way to make decent $$ is to upgrade.

5. Guarantee is currently at 70hrs. for everyone. The company has yet to respond to a Union proposed LOA that would increase reserve guarantee, among other reserve rule changes.

6. Negotiations have not even started yet, years away from being signed. I believe most would settle for moderate gains in pay/workrules etc.
