You not only deserve and should demand relative, you should demand that all SWAPA pilots are stapled. This is the only fair an equitable thing so PLEASE keep pushing for that. Gary is weak. Swapa is weak. They will cave on any demands that you make of them so make as many as you can and keep the pressure on. You guys are in the drivers seats. Thanks again for voting down that POS AIP. Then you don't understand what a representational democracy is, even though you are living under one right now.

Does your Congressman call you and ask your opinion on each and every vote? Does he even call you at all? No. But he does take calls and opinions. Now, if he's doing his job, he counts up those opinions and interjects logic with the end result being a decision that protects his constituents.

That is exactly what our MEC did after receiving an overwhelming number of calls and opinions from their constituents, coupled with legal advice from our attorneys. The MEC protected us from a lopsided, unfair, and inequitable SLI. They realized early on that the fear mongerors and defeatists had made up lies and then spread them. So, a true vote based on facts could not possibly have taken place. Therefore, the MEC voted the AIP down.

It's very telling how some SWA people on here try to tell ATN pilots how to run their show. It clearly shows SWAPA's growing anxiety over going to arbitration. Why? Because a panel of arbitrators can not be bought off, bullied, or coerced into delivering anything that is not fact and legal based. Only arbitration can deliver a pure result.
