I haven't used Air Tran in a bit, but when I did I was never charged. Sometimes there were 3 or 4 of us and never saw anyone having to shell out any money, this was out of MCO.

Thanks for the rides, it was a great way to get home while in training.

I'm travelling with my family, they have real tickets. Can I call to reserve the jumpseat or just show up at the gate? We are CASS now but I haven't tested the system yet.

Just show up at the gate. Try to get there early, the flights have been full lately. You might want to check your status in CASS. I had a guy a few weeks ago that could not get a response from CASS and was almost denied by the agent. If an agent give you a hard time find a pilot and ask for help, most guys will do the what they can to get you on the a/c.
