Why does the AirTran website not mention the April 16 job fair but mentions fairs for rampers and other departments?

When will the computer allow you to update your application, I have already tried the 30 day w/ no success.

Any news concerning contract negotiations?

Thanks for any info, there are still many of us who are still trying to get on w/ AAI but are starting to feel that we have missed the wave of hiring. Oh well I am just glad everything is stable at ASA except for we might strike, be sold, replaced, fired, or extended for infinity!

I think the company website only mentions "company sponsored" job seminars, AirInc is an independent vendor. AirTran WILL be at the April 16th fair and they are also planning on their training center tour for those interested. Good luck to you.

I made the online app and after the 20 -30 mins it took me to fill in the blanks the computer didn't accept it.. man I was p...ed.
still I'll try to make the fair on the 16th

the online app thing for an airline that is mainly pen and pencil is new and yes I am sure is not the best right now but it could be much worse and will get much better when all the bugs are taken care of. No you have not missed the hiring spree it will be here for quite sometime. Infact we have a class of 28 starting this thursday and classes close to 2 week intervals for quite sometime.

The online application worked after contacting AirTran. They gave me a new user name/password to get around the boggled application.

I am still hearing different opinions regarding how to fill out the flight time section. They ask for PIC and in another column they ask for Captain time. Since there are 2 blanks I seperated my times but others are combining PIC w/ captain then putting Captain only time in another blank. Then AirTran auto discards the incorrect applications and calls to to tell you that you really F-up this application I hope you enjoy your present job and then they giggle. At least that is what I heard.
