got the call. july 29 class. classes through rest of the year. 14 months from resume to interview. july 1 interview. 9 in interview class. all had significent pic time. mix of military/regional/2 furloughed.

I'm getting some questions about what it takes to get an interview (like you I started sending in my resume 12-14 months prior). Did you go to AirInc? Internal Recommendation?

I'll be joining you in the July 29th class. Since lodging will not be provided can anyone recommend a place to stay for someone without transportation?

You should get the hotel info in your training package. There're about 6 hotels listed.

I know some people stay at Wellesly Inn on Virginia Ave.
They offer shuttle to/from training center and charge AirTran employees $38/night +tax. Get a double bed and split it with a classmate for 20 bucks each. There are places to eat around the hotel.

I would call and ask them about that shuttle though...3 years ago, when I stayed there, the shuttle only went to the airport and back.
