Gretta called this afternoon and offered me a class March 25th. I, of course, accepted. Looking forward to ATL and the 717!

For those curious:

Interview was 21 Aug
Original Class was 30 Oct (cancelled)

Does anyone know if there will be 1 or 2 classes held in March?

When I spoke with Greta last week she said the first class was slated for around March 5th. 2nd class Mar 25th. I'm living vicariously through others at this point--sigh :(

I got the call for the March 25th class also. Greta said it was the 2nd class for the month. I did not ask when the first class is scheduled. She did say that the 1st class had 7 and the 25th class had 11.

See ya in ATL!

Someone throw me a towell, I'm drying off again! Im in the class on the 25th of March as well. I also interviewed on the 21st of August. Class on the 7th of Oct and Jan class were cancelled.

P.S. Thats not a BabyRuth floating in the pool!!

Congratulations guys, glad things are moving!!! sounds like I will be in the April Class, I think that will be around the 15th. Any idea if the size of the classes will increase??? What was the typical size when things were rolling a couple of years ago?
See Ya'll in ATL

When I went through in Aug 2002, we had 21 in class, but they seem to be going to smaller classes now. Good luck. You will like it there. It's a great pilot group. I moved on to Alaska because I felt it was a better opportnity for me, but it had nothing to do with anything negative about AirTran....it was just that Alaska offered me what I felt were better opportunities, and was the one place I had always wanted to work. Plus, we love living in the Pacific NW. I'm sure you will have a very positive experience at AirTran. Congratulations!!
