Does anyone know if the recent troubles with the AirTran online application have been fixed? Thanks.

I tried to put in an update today and couldn't get on. It still said thanks for the app. and will be kept on file. So I would say it's still broke!

Seriously, guys, sorry to hear about the difficulty. Why not try to call Greta Charles (Xt 5757) and tell her that while you would like to complete the on-line form, it appears to be having problems, and could you possibly e-mail it to her or the appropriate person?

That would be my suggestion. Don't let the automation get in the way of the process. Find a real person, make a connection . . . . it's still a small company, kind of.

Go ahead and email them the request for you user name and password. I got mine yesterday and was able to complete the online application. However there are still small problems such as all of my phone numbers would change on the employment page. I would edit them and they would change again. Some of my dates would also self alter themselves.

I did not list any of my dual time on the time chart so I hope I did that part right. The drug failure problem was fixed but I did get a validation error on the pilot page. I don't know what that was about but that problem fixed itself after skipping the page and coming back.

Good luck to you, at least now you will be able to relax before an interview instead of trying to write in 10 years of history.

Since you fill out the application on line- I am wondering if you will have to fill out another application at the interview or will they just use the copy that you submitted. I know that in the past once you were at the interview, they would have you fill out the paper application there. I tried to access my application to print a copy of it to take to the interview after I had already submitted it- but was unable to access it again.

I do not want to have to go back and add up all of my C-152 PIC time again.
