I was taught on a 2800 ft runway during my initial Private licencse training.
He11, the minimums are 2000 and 2 miles. In other words, its VFR!
Did they recently change the vis requirements for VFR?
Survey Says . . . . . . . Azz Clown!
4800 ft is a pretty long runway in my book. I don't see why landing 1000 ft down the runway would require any special training or simulator. I was taught on a 2800 ft runway during my initial Private licencse training. Give me a break guys.
This is waaay too funny . . . . Let's see . . . . So far, GT1900 is ready to fly single bleed source from ATL-CUN-ATL, fly into EYW without question, and now he's ready to fly VFR with 2 miles viz.
I thought your post was stupid on the 737-900 thread. Security Sensitive...LOL, but this tops that. Most every one of your post prove to me you are no where near what you claim to be. Each one dumber than the last. I do not believe for a minute that you fly for a "major".
What in the world does flying a 152 our of 2800 feet have to do with taking a 737 in to Key West. Here is a hint.....NONE!
