An internal letter or recommendation (preferably from more than one FL pilot) along with meeting the published minimums. Also, attending a job fair (Air-Inc., or any other) really seams to help.

Just my two cents. Good luck.

I just interviewed about a month ago. I can confirm it's pretty much the way 75M described it. They said there are three ways to get an interview. 1) an internal recommendation, 2) go to a job fair (ARINC, OBAP, WIA, etc) and give them a resume, or 3) send them a resume that absolutely waters their eyes. I inferred from the way they described it that options 1 and 2 were the realistic ways to get the call for an interview.

Persistence, persistence, persistence. Want to work here? Make your name keep coming up if you really mean it.

Congrats on being here Catfish. BTW, he's right. AirTran wants to hire people who want to be here LONG TERM.

Good look and happy hunting!

I sent them my resume via fax/email when I got called for an interview. I had 3800TT back then (2001)
