Happened to catch a view of an Airtran 717 in Memphis last week with the number 1 engine missing. Is this something old or a new item?

Left Kilo taxiway in the rain. Unfortunately what should have been minor damage apparently did structural damage and jet is getting parted out to repair.

Don't have all the facts--just wanted to say "sorry" to poor crew who had a bad night. Good luck guys...

Hard to believe that a brief excursion through the countryside could do such damage to a McDouglas airframe . . . but they really, really, really don't like to leave the hard surface.

.

... they tried to avoid contact with bambi.

Oh.. thats right.. she was working at the Platinum.

Better a gas station than an outdoor swimming hole.

Gup

Nice comparison between an accident where the crew was dead the moment they left the ground and one where the crew was apparently brain-dead the moment they left the ground.

Guys, c'mon....please get back to the topic at hand.

Hey, what happened to Elton PRAWN? :D

There's a lot of stuff coming out of the Training Center about the Memphis deal, but since it hasn't technically been released, I deleted my post about it.

Not one of our shinier moments... but every airline has their own share of pooch screws.

Elton Prawn went back into the closet....or clam shell !!

Guys, c'mon....please get back to the topic at hand.

Like me, most of the members of Flightinfo have ADHD and can't stay on one topic.

At 4-7, my Steelers are still mathematically alive in the AFC wildcard race.

I'm just glad I'm not taking medication for my ADHD because I think that's a question on the FAA medical questionaire.

It must have been tough to decide which picture to post.
