There's one thing though that worries me about body scanners: Possible radiation risk. The scanner by L-3 uses THZ-radiation. (some parts taken from another bb)

It was, and still does. However, to fly you will have to give up some of your rights. Otherwise, you can drive to your destination, that way you don't have to give up your rights.

We give up rights all the time so that we can do certain things, or participate in certian things. Flying is a privledge, it is not a right. Keep your rights and don't fly. Fly, then give up some of your rights. It is easy.

Well to be fair, I'm pretty sure murder violates Islamic law, not to mention mass murder. But on that note, as far as muslims believing that full body scanners violate islamic law, they seem to forget that most of the world could give a sh** about Islamic law. This is not an Islamic country and as such, whether or not somthing violates some medieval law is of no concern to me or probably most other Americans.
