New hire

Hey all, quick question for pilots at airnet. My ppl CFI was just hired and should be in training now. Does anyone know D. Krutz? If so, I'm trying to find his e-mail/reach him. If anyone has any info could you please reply or give me an e-mail at

[email protected]

Thanks!

I'm going to Reno, I'm going to Reno, I'm going to Reno....oh sorry, just trying to stay humble. NAh, i can't go now, i already used my move as an SIC, and paying 2K for the UHAUL to Reno from here would kill me...why couldn't it come open 2 months ago when i still had my move?!??!!?!? I have always wanted that one, and those guys just don't move or leave...this is the first time since it opened 2 years ago that it came up on the bid sheet. Anyway, sorry for those not knowing what is going on...kinda hijacked this one too.

It was a good bid sheet. 6 SIC and 2 PIC spots in the lear, and 3 porp spots. That means next week there will be probably 4-5 Lear SIC spots and a couple prop spots. I know a few current Lear SIC's will move to that DEN and the CPS spot. So next week will be interesting again...plus it is pay day(nudie magazine day, nudie magazine day).

Is Airnet hiring? I'd love to fly a lear some day, i've been reading books on it and already know the system pretty good. It really looks like a cool plane to fly, i've heard that the wives tales of how hard it is to fly are false and that it is really easy to fly. Any Airnet lear pilot care to comment on the lear training and how it is to fly?

Sorry buddy, you can't buy your way into that one. Slave away in the props for a couple years if your man enough or qualified to do so. No gear raisers at ANS.

Good one jaybird.... I was too late, you said it before me.

Lear training is TOUGH!!!! you have to have some GOOD experience before you will make it.;)

The lear is just a little harder to fly than you think F/O. And as for Airnet, I have a friends over there who are jumping out to go to regionals. The guys loved their job, but the upgrade time was so long and competitive to get into the right seat of the lear that they are leaving for Regionals. Also F/O you would have to fly a 310 or baron and I guess that would be a step down for you. lol

TAB...

Come on man, go play somewhere else. You're in Daytona, go to the beach, its warm outside... i dunno, go practice your flows or try to to get a tan with you hat on or something. This is all starting to get old now

Hey his post is gone...thats too bad, we could have had much more fun with that one.:( Oh well, i guess we just have to talk about Airnet stuff now:D ;)

With all this talk about Airnet hiring, I was intrigued and looked at their webpage. It says mins are 500 and competetive is 1000. For a night 135 operation, that seems odd to me. Good, but odd. After reading further it said they did away with SIC in Jan 2003. Can someone please explain?
