Bases

This may be a stretch, but any chance of anyone posting the current prop bases and if possible, tell us which ones generally go to the newbies.

Much appreciated

right now nothing is going to the newbies. the guys who are in class right now haven't even bid on a base/run. there are not enough open...so it appears that they are all being trained initially in the baron and will be standby somewhere until bases open up.

Regarding Indy,

I know the pilot in Indy and he is pretty far up on the seniority list and close to getting onto the jet. It is all based on timing as to which base you will get. That run in Indy flies both a BE58 and a C208 for the middle. Each time you go through CMH you have to swap into the other aircraft. It also has a fifth night (BE58 only). Hope that helps.

I will also have to agree with postings above that jumpseating brings you closer to home. I live in CMH and use the system and NWA alot to go visit my roots out west. Hope to see you onboard if this is where you decide to apply.

As far as the prop bases, delete DAL, MDW, OMA, TUL. Add BMH for sure, might be more, I don't know, but delete those four for sure.

OMA is still a base is it not? One Caravan run.....2 legs, about 5 hours. OMA-APA-OMA

Sorry, forgot about that. I was thinking that Central AIr came in and took all of the routes out of there. They basically took all of the midwest runs they chartered out. That run uses the van out of Minny right? No aircraft based there?

It uses the Caravan from, I think, 608 out of STP. My buddy who is also from Denver flies that route out of OMA. I don't know how he does it? I would get bored flying two 2.5-3.0 hrs legs back to back. I guess that is why I love floating. I get variety every week.
