Dumb question of the day: On airlineapps when it asks if you were a ever a check airman, does it count if you were a 141 stage check airman?

Here's another one: Eagle wants you to list unemployment references at airlineapps. They want 2 professional and 1 personal. Uh... I was unemployed, how can I have a frakkin professional reference?!

Nope.................

I'm not so sure...

When you become a check pilot at a school with part 141 self examining authority, you get a letter from the FAA stating that you have the authority to conduct certain certificated and non-certificated checkrides. Sounds kind of check airman-ish to me.
