Did anyone else notice, in the last episode of Airline on A&E, when they were talking to the man in LAX wearing only a short skirt and going commando underneath, that the background music was the theme from Shaft?

Usually when t.v. shows start showing men without underwear while wearing skirts, I click the INFO button on the remote. If there isn't some details listed about the show that would lead me to belive that there is some sort of bag pipe convention correlation...I change the channel.

Just a Reminder.....

A&E does repeat this show on Thursdays for those of us who missed the trans sexual and all the other hilarious stuff on this weeks episodes. I saw 15 mins of the last one.

By the way werent some of these episodes suppose to show the pilots/cockpit? I have yet to see any episode with more than 3 seconds of footage grrrrrr

Probably been covered before, but does anyone think this is going to hurt SWA? I'm sorry - it was a great attempt at publicity - but if I were a passenger out there trying to decide what airline to take, SWA would be scratched off the list IMMEDIATELY. No offense to you folks, as I realize every airline has these or similar problems everyday. But if I didn't know any better, I'd think flying on SWA was like shopping at Wal Mart, or worse. I feel the show isn't doing you any favors.

Any SWA folks out there with some feedback from passengers, or your own thoughts? I'd LUV to hear what you think of the show and its impact on you.

I know the CEO of SW said the show hasnt hurt at all, if anything people want to fly them to try and catch a glimpe of the show being made. I also heard they got like 1000 applicants for CSR jobs right after the first one aired, and employees we're calling up asking when would they see some of the action from the show.

exactly, the low cost carriers are like wal-mart shopping... there was a great article somewhere, i think it was money, or aol.money, that said lowest cost is damaging our economy... and now its suddenly clear...

should we be so desparate to find the lowest price(as a society)? look what its done to pilot careers... look what walmart has done to the local woolworth, look what home depot has done to your local hardware store...
