Times have changed..due to the increased presence of LCCs, frequent flyer programs, upgrades, etc., the folks that would have been on a bus in the '80s are now populating the terminals.TriStar_drvr said:You got to love some of the people who are flying these days (and all the airlines get them, not just the LCCs).
As far as non-revving, I grew up in an airline family (dad, mom, stepmom, and sister all Delta) and can remember going on plenty of family vacations on a pass, rarely getting bumped. Nowadays, it's just not worth it, due to the reasons listed in the paragraph above. It's hardly a job benefit anymore. If you want to get somewhere, you're better off sucking it up and buying a ticket.
