USA 3000 has stopped hiring pilots for now. As the economy recovers from SARS, war, etc., they plan to continue adding aircraft and growing the company. My guess is they probably won't do any hiring until next year.
From all I have heard, USA 3000 is a GREAT company to work for. They have pilot bases in ORD, PHL, EWR, CLE and BWI. Check out www.usa3000pilots.com and www.usa3000.com
AirTran has hired aprox 80-90 pilots so far in '03 and will increase the class sizes over the remaining months (as per the newhire chairman on the pilots web site).

mmmmm last I check USA 3000 is furloughing 12 pilots, they have 6 airplanes and already have a union, their schedules are so bad that they are not commutable so you have to move to where your based and they require you to have an address within 2 hours from where your gonna be based and to top all of this off they have around 70 something Letters of Investigation against them. When these guys got started I would have bet my money on them, becaue I used to fly APPLE Charters and thought that they were gonna be huge, but man was I wrong. Who know's maybe they'll get better, but thats the skinny on USA 3000.
