Whoops, stupidly I goofed in a couple boxes (slight spelling error and dates were reversed in one of my prior addresses) on my airline apps online application and realized it after it was published. Made the necessary corrections and resaved it. Just wondering if this is real bad mistake. Has anyone else made an error on the app, submitted it, corrected and resaved it, and still received a call? Also wondering how often the system resends the information to companies or should I use "Publish my App" button again? Thanks is advance.

Great question - I applied to CAL, made a correction or two after "publishing" it, and then didn't know whether to re-publish it or just save the corrections. A buddy of mine from my F-16 Unit who flies with CAL said it's not a big deal if you hit publish twice...however all you need to do is just save the corrections. That's about all I know...

I don't think it's a big deal. I have a CAL interview next week and I got an email from KD saying something to the effect "we're printing out your application the day before your interview, make sure it's correct by then." I republished mine about 6 different times in the 6 months I had it in before I got the interview...my 2 cents.

tmac,

Just curious - did you have someone "sponsor" you and help you in making sure the chief pilot saw your app and your qual's?

Thanks - Scrapdog

1st off, I can't believe AFA lost to Wyoming. Nice choke. Typical 1st round loss in the MWC tournament. At least we'll make the NIT, maybe even a home game.

The short answer is yes. I had my "sponsor" use another high up "sponsor" that he knew well take my information to the chief pilot. At least that's my understanding of it. He also said that hiring should be slowing down this summer and repick up again in the fall, which is what I've seen in a lot of the CAL threads the last week or so. That's all speculation though...but yes, my application did get pushed by someone to help expedite it. That being said, it was still 4-5 months from airapps to interview call. I was told to wait until I was "closer to getting out" before getting the push. I'm 6 weeks from separating now.

Hope that helps...
