And some of those were really obscure... some of them I got purely by process of elimination.

Not really all that tough if you've read World Airpower Journal for a while--most of the pictures looked familiar to me.

Got a 23/24 on hard..then I went back and tried it on very hard and got a 24/24! (Excuse me while I take a couple victory laps around the room...)

Hey, hardly a day goes by that I don't spend a little time looking at a book about aviation...been that way since I was eight.

There ought to be a way to time this thing. It's no fun if there are guy out there who just pull out a book...

I think there is someone somewhere sitting behind a computer laughing at my score on medium. I managed a whole 12/24. That's just about three pots of coffee and some really bad music away from being college all over again. Better luck to the next person.

Hi guys,

I'm the webmaster of that website and I was checking my visitor-stats and saw that a bunch of visitors came from this forum. So I thought, let's check it out.

Interested in some info about the test?
- The test is generated randomly, which means you get a different test every time you take it.
- The test almost uses every picture on the entire website, about 5900 pics of 285 airplanes. Only the pictures that are very poor quality or that show multiple aircraft are left out.
- Cockpit pictures; you'll only get those in the very-hard setting.

When I started with my website almost every visitor got 24/24, because there were too little airplanes on the site. But with 285 different airplanes it's getting harder quickly.

If anyone has any suggestions for the skill-test, please tell me.
