People who do research and try to buy/sell aircraft for a living.... is that called an Aircraft Broker? Also, does anybody know the salary range for the new guys that do that type of work?

There are very few reliable brokers out there,
specifically aircraft type. I worked and flew, for
Barron Thomas for over a year. I've heard all kind of
stories about him, but one I can not deny.
The checked always cashed, and he was a honest person.
And more than once the customer came back because
of both. I recently had the chance to chat with him regarding
9/11.
He has weathered more storms in the financial aspect then
any one else I know selling aircraft. He treated me great
while I was with him.
The object of what I think your saying is this,
How can I get a job doing ferry work and saleing aircraft.
The answer to that one is deep within your self,
First, you have to be almost a tele-marketer sort of speek.
Second, you have to have knowledge about what your selling.
Whether it be a C-150 or a C-90.
There is only one way to gain this type of experience,
Get it.
Don't wast your time with wanna be brokers, they are like
scum on a toilet seat. And might do anything to get you to fly
something you might not want to.
As far as the pay, if your a sale's oriented type of person
you can make great pay. But you do need experience and time
in type to sell an aircraft, this really helps in demo flights when
you can show a possible owner how easy things can work.

myself to death. I had more time in single's than jet's when
i went to work for Barron...
