Survey says??? Good-bad?

I don't see much info here about them in here.

Good. About the only bad thing you'll see bad posted are the non-commutable schedules. The old contract is in arbitration which may take months to get a decision, but the current contract is among the best in the industry already. Plus, we've submitted responses to RFPs for Midwest and Continental that I know of...perhaps others as well. I've noticed the same thing that there isn't much posted on here. I go with the theory, no news is good news.

I used to work at AWAC. I'd say that if you live near ORF, DCA or PHL, it's a good place for you to be. commuting sucks no matter where you are. AWAC is traditionally conservative when it comes to growth. I enjoyed it there, but that was before they lost all their UEX flying, closed all their bases and got rid of the 146. I was part of the exodus. I'd guess that the company is very different now.

good luck

Continental? I haven't heard that one....

Had mr. Chief himself in the jumpseat 2 days prior to them announcing the midwest RFP and he stated they were looking at the Q400 specs and it was a possibility .. but nothing was submitted yet or basically he was saying he couldn't talk anymore about it.

I guess that would be why they were asking about a 70 seat turbo prop rate.

Thats good to hear, the Q is the best option out there these days.

I heard we told them that we already have a 70 seat rate.

S.

I heard that as well. They also asked for a 90 seat rate and we gave them the same answer.

We said no to B-scales and further pay cuts. I won't stay here if they buckled to mgt's request. I am glad the MEC is putting their foot down. There comes a time when enough is enough and it's not worth (or shall I woerth) it. They bid on the NWA flying and the Midwest flying. If they got that flying and had bases in the Midwest, then the attrition would slow down. as those who live in the Midwest and out West would have an easier commute.
