Some of us don't know the details. What's being agreed to here?

Stay tuned. The ACA vote is coming soon.

What are we voting on? You have to remember that in order for there to be a vote, there first has to be a TA. Our Negotiating Committee and MEC have stated many times that they are pretty far from reaching an agreement with the company. They might never come up with a TA.

First things first. I would like to know some details about the the Whiskey TA. A comparison between the old contract and the new one would be great.

ACA.Well, I like the disinformation campaign the MEC puts on nightly. What are the implications of the company wants to continue discussions PAST the 10th deadline?

I don't like it!

Regards.

To show my newbie status, what is the MEC?

Thanks

MEC=Master Executive Council of the union.

The pilots of each base elect their LEC (Local Executive Council - usually you elect a captain rep, a first officer rep, and a secy/treas.)

If you have several bases, each has their own LEC, and all the LEC's together make up the MEC.

First things first,
this is not anywhere what MESA agreed
too.
Don't be fooled.

I voted "Yes" to this TA for several reasons.
I will not even get into why; except to say.

"Air Wisconsin pilots were afforded the
opportunity to vote; Yea or Nah!"

"The last contract in which ACA agreed to
was authourized by there MEC without
a general vote from the pilots."

"Skywest can't even vote, they have no
negotiating committee, there company put
in a bid, and if accepted, there pilots have
no recourse in which to negotiate. Regardless
of pay cut's...

This does not even guarantee future work
for Air Wisconsin in the future for UAL.

As a regional pilot group, does anybody think
we can change the minds of the "BEAN COUNTERS".
And the Bankruptcy court for UAL.

AWAC's Negotiating Committee has been historic for
(Pro Pilot) contract's in the past.

If they aren't on this one, then we can't say they
didn't attempt the best job they could. They did great.
And I support them 110%

A "disinformation campaign", huh? So much for unity I guess.
