I flew for air wisconisn back in the day. Does anyone who is still there remember giving up pay to "secure our united flying contract". Then about a year later the flying got taken away. It turned out our flying was never secured, despite the fact that we took a pay cut. However management still let us go on flying at a reduced pay rate.
And didn't the Air Wisconsin pilots get screwed after that when an arbitrator found in the pilots' favor but they ended up having to compromise for a fraction of the money they were owed?
