They will be conducting on site interviews at DFW in January '06. They need around 40 new FO's a month until June/July maybe even longer. Current awarded Captain upgrades are just over 2 1/2 years DOH.

I thought the official word from MB was 48 for Jan, Feb, and March. I didn't see anything after that. Was there something else that came out?

If that's true, assuming 800 pilots (more than are on the alignment for March) and a 50/50 split between CA's and F/O's, I'll be just over 50 from upgrade come July and I was hired in August of this year. I don't really think that sounds very realistic, especially for a company that is downsizing...

This is straight from the Air Inc email I just got today...

"Air Wisconsin plans on hiring 15 pilots in December and 48 a month through 3/06 and 156 for the remainder of 2006. They will be conducting on-site interviews during the Job Fair in DFW."

A few less airplanes yes, but more hours on the current ones, also yes. That increase in hours per airplane adds up to more than a few extra crews.
