anyone know when AIrWisc is starting the transition to USair flying?

Was in PHL today and saw a Usexpress w/ tail number ending in AW, didn't know if it's just mesa or someone knew.

Remember the following.

"Ops need marshlers and a jet way driver on gate ##".

"Ops need fuel on gate ##".

I could keep going but that would take all the fun out of it.

Best of luck in PHL.;)

Yeah, the other night I heard an Air Whiskey flight on ops making the laundry list of service requests at the gate. Air Cart, GPU, lav, windshield, "commissary" (it's "catering" now), etc. I kinda laughed to myself and wondered how much of that they would actually get in a timely manner.

Welcome to Philly. Get your lavs done at the outstations and don't hit any bugs on the leg in.

Took AWAC from PHL...great flight!!! First Class operation!!! Wish you guys the best at USair...

Is AWAC doing their own W and Balance Calculations with the new USAir flying, or still doing that "breakdown" stuff. Have fun with that in PHL.

We do are w/b through our ACARS and then write it down for the station. PHL won't be any different than ORD. Our ramp there is pretty bad and almost impossible to get a lav, but you will NEVER get one unless you ask, right? Trust me, AWAC is used to poorly run ramps in the hubs.

I've given up...

How about: "Folks we are just a few feet from the gate, but we need someone to park us. Please keep your seatbelts fastened until we are able to turn off the fasten seatbelt sign. Welcome to Philly!"

Then you sit back, relax, and think about how insanely over block you are about to be.

Resistance is futile!
