Job fair in ATL @April 16 mentions Air Tran tour. Any tips for attending first job fair other than getting an Elton John tattoo on my face.

Thanks for any info.

I found a schedule/cost chart for the job fair at Air-Inc. The entire seminar goes on all weekend but the chance to meet w/ your airline is only a few hours on Saturday night. The cost is up to $200. Can you attend the one night without offending the recruiters?

As far as I knew, that was only when the recruiters were really there. The rest of the weekend is just seminars that might or might not be useful to you. When I went to the job fair I rolled in around the middle of the afternoon when some crack smoker from Tab Express was explaining how wonderful life is at their airline. A few more recruiters spoke, then break, then stand in line for a while to meet the one's you wanted to meet. Out the door by 8pm in time to commute back home. Might be worthwhile to stay later at this one though for the AirTran open house.

Don't forget that if you show up early in the day you can enter to win the free 737 type rating, of course you must be physically in the room for the drawing to win the prize (happens at the very end of the job forum). This is Kit Darby's way of preventing people from going over to the job fair booths before the job forum is finished.

Golly gee, Snake is a comedic individual. How otherworldly is his sense of creativity. How supernatural is his deft timing. I am in awe.

Just add him to your ignore list. Without an audience he'll go away.

I guess Air Tran could use the help. I mean, when you have the GreyHound crowd demanding excellence you guys sure know how to do that. I am sure you go all out. Like giving something extra chewy to the guy in 4B with 5 missing teeth, or one of your pilot buddies having a drink with the drunk in 18D on the Vegas layover. Make sure you watch that 12 hour rule. We don't want that happening again. Maybe at the job fair they will explain how Air Tran turns a profit. From what I hear, it is magical. Good luck at the fair. By the way, how can my friend at Smiths Lawn and Garden get an application? He works on lawn mowers but wants to be a jet engine mechanic and thinks your company would be the best fit. Thanks for any info.

Forgive the Snake guys.....He got @ss raped when he was little by a monkey. Still hasn't gone to therapy, and the only way he knows how to act is by blurting out stupid comments on an anonomous forum to get attention. He hasn't gotten much love since the monkey incident and now he is just reaching out, lookin for affection! Feel sorry for him!!!!!

A monkey? I heard it was T-Bags in a monkey costume. . . . .

Either way, it explains a whole lot.

Snake is TBag, what a poor, poor sad creature.

"So much anger, dang that Rap music"

One more question for you Air Tran boys: Does Motel 6 give your airline a good rate or do you have to negotiate with them? Are they good to you on layovers? Since your airline charges $39 one way, are they thinking about downgrading your accomodations? Maybe the local mom and pop roadside motel or something? Also, is the primary vendor for your uniforms still K-Mart? I read the other day that Pay-Less shoe stores are having a sale. That could help your company save money also. Good luck.

Oh our Airtran loving snake you know us so well that you know that we do not have a 4B, after our business class we start at row 10.

Your right, turning a profit in this time is magical. Hardworking employees most with a good attitude (you would fit right in with us) are what it takes. In your eyes that is PFM in our eyes it is doing the right thing.

Now snake you can start bashing on us. Keep trying to cause a fire. You can call us all scabs, valujet and oh know not CRITTER. Now go and pizz off.

More likely, the teenage kid of a Delta pilot (whose Mom ran off with an AirTran pilot).

The dummy keeps sending me PM's . . . . I don't even read 'em, just delete 'em.
