What's the scoop on this... saw Delta is using 1900's out of JFK in Sept. to PVD.... any other routes? Is this a permanent thing or did Mesa just run out of Dash 8's to make available to Freedom?

Somethings big time wrong if DAL is using 1900's from MESA. Freedom's performance in the DAL system sux. When will the Big "D" learn?

I think they use the to BDL, too. Maybe something to do with with delays w/ the DHC-8?

Delta website states that flights with Air Midwest begin August 15th, however nobody here has been notified of this. Im sure it will be a smooooth start...

Something is VERY VERY WRONG. Next is going to be CRJ's because Delta will get every other type of equipment that Mesa operates besides Dash 8's. They can't get the airplanes up and running for the Dash 8 operation....they have a couple of hundred pilots waiting around, most haven't touched an airplane since their checkride months ago waiting on the airplanes to arrive....it's so much fun, especially when they start talking consolidation problems.

Hey Bouyyyy! Wats about uzz??? We aints doin that well ouselffs. Copy Dat??

One FAA inspector plus one DASH 8 divided by JFK ramp equals 58 write ups aircraft grounded indefinately. But thats not the best part should the 1900s not prove up to snuff JOs considering hot air balloons on JFK..PVD route.

According to another post, it's Colgan.

Regardless, I can't believe Delta is going to 1900s. No FA, no lav, no snacks or drinks... yeah, that's the wave of the future.

From what I understand, it was a decision handed down from Mesa Corporate who told the DO at Air Midwest to put 1900s into service at JFK. AMW doesn't have any spare 1900s, nor does it have the crews to do it - so every management and training pilot was dragged out to JFK, and the FO's are all new-hires that just completed their simulator training and will be doing their IOE in JFK.

I do know they robbed a 1900 from the CHS base and leased out the CHS flying to Gulfstream who will fly a Continental Connection painted aircraft for US Airways Express.

So go fly on Delta Connection in an US Airways Express painted airplane.
